Allow me to introduce myself in a few lines: my name is György Katona, 65 years old, I am a retired train driver and interpreter. I am Hungarian nationality and I live here in Hungary. I have 3 children ... and a wife, with whom we have been living together for 40 years, for better or for worse ??.
I am a descendant of the Huns, who lived approx. 2000 years ago next to you.
In 2015, at the age of 57, I started studying Chinese medicine. Why? Because I wanted to find out if it is possible to live without medicines. In 2019, at the age of 61, I passed the exam and since then I have continued to study TCM myself and 3 years ago I also started learning the wonderful Chinese language, your mother tongue. I am learning Mandarin to understand this miracle even better. Yes, my dear Friends, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and its entire system is a miracle. Fortunately - by chance - I found this website and this forum. Seeing that only members can access the download, I immediately applied to the Mr.Administrator, transferred the membership fee and since then I can be a full member among you. I would like to tell you what TCM education is like in my small country. I will tell you my own experience…
What is happening now in Hungary and in this entire region makes me very sad. If you look at our history, we always wanted to live here in peace!! But our neighbours never have been living in peace never wanted to became real neighbours to live in peace with. When we were strong - 1000 years ago - our neighbours asked for our help. They wore our clothes!! We would like to be among them. They forced Christianity, the Catholic religion and the priests on us, who took away our ancient writing - the Hun runic script - drove away our healers , forced the Latin language on us and wiped out our ancient written memories. In 1920, they tore our country apart and since then we are the only nation on Earth that borders itself: they tore my country into 7 parts.
This was a small historical information. Just so you can see how vain you are trying to satisfy the Western peoples: they will never have enough as long as they live and until they have taken everything from you!! I was born in Transylvania, part of Romania since 1920. My grandparents were born in the Kingdom of Hungary. I know the communist system because I grew up in it. It better like today’s capitalism , I dare to say onestly !! I came to Hungary in 1988. Since 1990, I have seen how my country is being robbed by Westerners. They lure young people to their own country because they can earn more there. They bring garbage here, buy up or steal our land and pollute it with all kinds of chemicals to make it grow more. 30 years ago we still hoeed, but now only chemicals and herbicides are used. Since 1994, the pharmaceutical mafia has started in the healthcare sector: agents with doctor or pharmacist qualifications visit medical offices, clinics recruit doctors and pharmacists so that only they can distribute their chemicals, because then they get a lot of money and can go on vacations and trips anywhere in the world!!! They bought the university professors and teachers to teach only their science and hate the other eastern medicine !!. I admit, there is a lot of progress in first aid, in emergency cases...but many times people are operated on unnecessarily, who then live as cripples or die from their post-operative wounds!! Covid showed how cruel this drug mafia is: tens of thousands of people died because of them!! Several people in my family also died because they were put on ventilators for no reason or because they got sick because of Western vaccines - Pfizer, etc. The elderly were vaccinated and then left to fend for themselves.
How is TCM education in my country? Deplorable !! It is officially taught at medical universities, postgraduate or optional, but only for Western doctors!!! In Hungary and most EU countries, only a doctor with a Western medical degree can use acupuncture!! I studied 4 years at the Shennong Institute in Budapest, but it does not have accreditation...so my diploma is not valid because it was not issued by a university!! There is no TCM pharmacy in Hungary!! It is in the capital of neighboring Austria, Vienna !! There is also a TCM college, whose diploma is recognized everywhere!! I am a member of the Central and Eastern European TCM Society and the Hungarian-Chinese Friendship Society. I speak English, German, Romanian, Russian and basic Japanese. In 2020, all hell broke loose: the doctors were intimidated and threatened if they did not administer the foreign vaccine, especially the Western filth. According to them, the Chinese and Russian vaccines are not good!! Neither I nor my wife are vaccinated because we were afraid of getting some kind of poison. Many of my friends and acquaintances who were required to be vaccinated either died or will get sick sooner!!
There is no clinic practice at the Shennong Institute !!! That's why, after I passed the exam in 2019 at the age of 61, I applied for an internship with the Hungarian and Chinese doctors here. At the age of 61?! No one helped whom I asked on the phone or on the Internet! What do I want at 61!? However, I didn't wish them harm or competition! I just wanted to get to know TCM in practice. I can't use acupuncture because I'm not a western doctor!!! So on January 23, 2020, I started giving a lecture about the miracle of TCM in the local city library. Since then, I have given 17 lectures and now the last Thursday evening of every month is about TCM. At the same time, I started to translate the bilingual Chinese-English textbooks published by TCM universities in Shanghai and Nanjing in 2003. Nobody helped me with inormation about copyright or publishing them in Hungarian language !!
In 2020, I created a non-profit group on Facebook called: Help yourself with TCM! I saw earlier at the Shennong Institute that there are no TCM textbooks to learn from!! I ordered the package of 14 pieces and started to translate them. I began to publish the translations in the Facebook group, so that those who would like to learn TCM, but do not know only Hungarian, can also learn this wonderful healing!! So far, I have translated and published the books „ Basic theory of TCM „ and „ Diagnostics of TCM „ in the group. I am currently translating the book „ Acupuncture and moxibustion in TCM „ and publish it daily in small portions to the members. I also describe the titles and names in Chinese, because this is the only way TCM is authentic. In the meantime, I'm learning Mandarin. I am now 65 years old. I still want to go to clinical practice, but now if possible, in China, to learn real TCM in practice. I would like to pass on my experiences to my children and grandchildren along with the translations. I no longer want to open a TCM clinic, because I acknowledge that I have already lived most of my life! But I want to help my nation, my children and grandchildren to heal, to believe in TCM, in the universe, in the Dao and especially the healing mechanism of their own body !!
In my lectures, I always tell the most beautiful TCM truths, such as:
“痛制不痛，痛制不通”
“成事在天，谋事在人” etc.
I try to convince them in Hungarian that it is possible to live without chemicals and to be cured!!
As a train driver, I had many accidents and saw how short life can be. I have lived to be retired and enjoy every day. I am in good health, my wife and I exercise often. Our children are adults. We were left as two again, like 40 years ago, when we held each other's hands and, regardless of our different religions, we set off on this wonderful journey called: LIFE.
