This is one of the Shan Han Lun case study we had. Everyone in my class thought all these case studies were very difficult. Of course, we are just newbies I post these case studies here, hope I can find more people to discuss them together in English (it's more difficult, isn't it? )
Shang Han Lun Case Case study 1:
One patient, male, 16 years old, presents with stiffness in the neck and upper back, general body aches accompanied by chills for the last two days. His temperature the day before was 100.1F at which time his mother gave him Tylenol. He woke this morning with the same syndromes as well as diarrhea, headache in both the frontal and orbital regions and is experiencing irritability. During physical examination there is no inflammation of lymph nodes, however his temperature is now 100.7F and though he is not perspiring and aversion to wind, his face is markedly red. T: red.
